Why We Built This Site
Clay County has two county seats and several court counters. Circuit Court records may be associated with Piggott or Corning, while District Court matters are handled through Corning, Piggott, or Rector. A general web search can send a traffic ticket to the Circuit Clerk or confuse Arkansas eFlex with the public Search ARCourts portal. This resource organizes the official routes around the court that owns the case.
The focus is practical: find a case-events list, check a setting, identify the right clerk, and request the actual filing or certified record when a portal printout is not enough.
What You Will Find Here
The content explains how public Clay County court information is divided and where official sources fit. It includes:
- Search ARCourts steps for party-name and case-number lookups
- Clay County Circuit Clerk and District Court department contacts
- Criminal, civil, traffic, and hearing-setting explanations
- Public-access and redaction rules under Arkansas Administrative Orders 19 and 19.1
- City-level routing for Piggott, Corning, Rector, St. Francis, and Pollard
Each court page points to Arkansas Judiciary, county, legislative, Census, or federal government sources. The clerk or court remains the final authority.
What We Cannot Do
This private site cannot change a setting, file a pleading, quote a fine, accept a payment, certify a copy, disclose restricted material, or decide which legal step a person should take. It also cannot guarantee that a public search result is complete or current. Only the assigned court can confirm a hearing, and only the clerk that maintains the file can issue an official copy.
Use the docket information as a starting point. Confirm any deadline, appearance, charge, judgment, or record status with the originating Clay County court or clerk.
Search Partners
The search boxes are supplied by an outside service. Search terms entered there are processed under that provider's practices. The sponsored tool is separate from Search ARCourts and from every Clay County clerk. No result from a partner should be treated as an official Arkansas court record.
Official public case information begins with Search ARCourts. Certified records come from the Clay County Circuit Clerk or the District Court clerk for the department shown in the case header or citation.
